NORTHERN NOVA SCOTIA
The Wentworth–Collingwood Corridor
Four seasons of play in the Cobequid foothills. Ski, ride, paddle and golf — and come home to a place with room to breathe.
WHY THE CORRIDOR, WHY NOW
A corridor of activity, from Wentworth to Collingwood Corner
Drive the Wentworth Collingwood Road today and you'll see a region on the move. Ski Wentworth — Nova Scotia's largest alpine ski hill and a downhill destination since the 1930s — has grown into a true four-season mountain, adding lift-accessed mountain biking and new disc golf courses. Right in Collingwood Corner, the volunteer-run Cumberland Snowmobile Club grooms and maintains more than 500 km of trails across Cumberland and Colchester counties, and the ATV network is just as well kept. New homes are going up around Sutherlands Lake and through the Wentworth Valley.
And at the Collingwood end of the corridor, Cabot — the company behind the world-renowned Cabot Cape Breton — is building Cabot Wilds, a 2,500-acre golf resort set to open in late 2027.
We've sold real estate in Cumberland County for 30 years. This could be very exciting for this stretch of countryside.
