About Pugwash:
Founded in the late 1700s, Shipbuilding and lumber were  the original successes of the community.  As the railway arrived in 1890, lumber remained a focus. Today, the Canada Salt Company stands as a major employer. Cross Road Cycles can provide you with a home, garage, and some toys for inside.  Take a walk on the boardwalk, enjoy the sunsets, celebrate with the village in the summer.  Boasting essential amenities such as a hospital, school, care homes, groceries, gas stations, and restaurants. For leisure activities, you will find stunning beaches along the warm waters of the  Northumberland Strait, with five provincial parks within a 30-minute drive, one being on the edge of the village. Pugwash gained international recognition for peace in 1957 and the community continues to grow  along the shores of the Northumberland Strait.  Discover more about Pugwash in  the video below.
